Supported files and limits
- One PDF at a time, selected locally.
- Up to 50 MB, your plan’s per-PDF page limit, 100 pages hard maximum, and 250,000 extracted cells.
- Text PDFs and many scanned PDFs; raw images are not accepted.
One-click conversion
Choose one PDF and conversion starts. There is no classifier or document-mode setting to configure.
Statements, reports, invoices, lists, schedules, and other tabular PDFs all use the same conservative general-table extraction contract.
Progress, closing, and reopening
Once accepted, the job continues even if the modal closes. Reopen the add-on in the same spreadsheet to resume while the content-free pointer and temporary result remain available.
If the result has expired, start a new job. The website cannot recover or inspect jobs.
Preview and insertion
Preview every selected table. New tabs are the default. Current-selection insertion is limited to one small table and fails closed unless the entire target is safely empty.
Rows are inserted as safe displayed text. The product does not preserve PDF styling, freeze headers, apply financial formats, or promise native number/date types.
Errors and page charging
Safe error messages describe a category, not document content. Platform/provider failures release pages that did not receive valid parseable output. A valid no-tables result still counts because the page was processed successfully.
Retries are idempotent and do not double-charge.
Billing and privacy
Paid allowance resets by UTC calendar month, not the Stripe renewal date. See Pricing for exact mechanics.
PDF content is temporary and is never durable analytics or a support archive. See Privacy for providers and retention boundaries.
Quick answers
Why did it find no tables?
The page may be layout-heavy, too blurry, encrypted, or not actually tabular. Inspect the source and try a clearer PDF when available. A valid no-tables result counts.
Why are dates or amounts still text?
That is deliberate. Source strings are inserted as literal text to prevent formula execution and locale coercion. Convert formats manually after review.
Can support review my PDF?
Do not email it. Support does not need or retain document content. Share only the content-free job/error category and general document type.
